Youngstown, Ohio — November 15, 2017. America Makes proudly announces that it honored both Jim Williams, President of All Points Additive, and Jim McCabe, Senior Director of Standards Facilitation at the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), with the America Makes Distinguished Collaborator Award, its highest honor, for their collaboration and leadership in the successful creation of the Additive Manufacturing Standardization Collaborative (AMSC). The AMSC is an ongoing initiative launched in March 2016 to coordinate and accelerate the development of industry-wide additive manufacturing (AM) standards and specifications consistent with stakeholder needs necessary to facilitate the growth of the AM industry at large. The AMSC is a joint initiative between America Makes and ANSI.
